M&S secures first ever Spanish high street store

MS Malaga

High street chain Marks & Spencer has agreed a deal to open its first-ever high street store in Spain with a 4,300 sq ft letting in Malaga.

The move comes in contrast to Marks & Spencers’ programme of store closures in the UK where it expects to shut up to 100 clothing and home stores by 2022. Marks & Spencer has also halved its team of UK leasing agents recently – standing down CBRE, Cheetham & Mortimer and DWR earlier this year.
