Scottish house-builder Manorlane has secured a multi-million housing deal at Elphinstone’s 119-acre mixed-use scheme in Glasgow.

The developer will build 170 high-specification homes across the thirty acres bordering up-market Newton Mearns in a five-year scheme that will have an end value of around £90m.

The development will also include 410,000 sq ft of office space, private and social housing, shops, a hotel and community facilities including a GP and a primary school.

Works to put the infrastructure at the site in place started in July 2007 and are expected to take around 16 month to complete.

Manorlane submitted a planning application to East Renfrewshire in July 2007 and, subject to planning permission it will start on site next June.
