May pledges minimum size requirements for residential properties

Theresa May will today promise to introduce minimum space requirements to end “rabbit hutch” new homes.

The outgoing Prime Minister will say during her speech to the Chartered Institute of Housing that she “cannot defend a system in which owners and tenants are forced to accept tiny homes with inadequate storage”.
