Scarborough group chief Kevin McCabe was last night named Yorkshire and the north east property personality of the year.

At a ceremony attended by more than 400 people at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, Mccabe's son Scott picked up the trophy. McCabe himself was on business in New York.
