Retirement housebuilder McCarthy & Stone has appointed a managing director of its largest shareholder, Arun Nagwaney, as a non-executive director.
Nagwaney, who is a managing director and global head of portfolio at investment firm Anchorage Capital Europe, will join the board with immediate effect and become a member of the nomination committee. Funds managed and advised by Anchorage are currently the largest investor in McCarthy & Stone with an aggregate direct and indirect shareholding of 27.88%.
