Investor Cromwell Property Group has appointed a director of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s real estate team to the newly created role of senior transactions manager in Europe.
Based in London, Alejandro Salcedo will lead the sourcing and executing of complex multi-jurisdictional portfolios and corporate acquisitions on behalf of Cromwell and its funds across Europe. Last year, Cromwell raised €865.7m for the flotation of the Cromwell European Real Estate Investment Trust (CEREIT) and, following a further rights issue of €224.1m, has since built up a portfolio of 93 assets for close to €2bn.
