After a cancellation in 2020 and reduced numbers in 2021, over 740 leading companies from the property industry made their way to the Hilton Park Lane for the sold out 38th Microscope Ball.
This year’s theme was Strike A Pose and featured fabulous entertainment from the drag queen host, Miss Demeanour, and the Globe Girls, who made it a night to remember.
Inspiring speeches from Chloe Ball-Hopkins who lives with nemaline myopathy and Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Chief Executive, Catherine Woodhead, alongside the famous auctioneer Jonny Gould, helped the charity to raise £153,000 on the night.
The ball is the flagship fundraising event for Muscular Dystrophy UK, a charity dedicated to fighting muscle-wasting conditions though pioneering research into treatments and cures. The event raised an outstanding £418,000 for the 110,000 people living with a muscle-wasting condition in the UK. A record for the event.
