After a year of virtual fundraising, over 600 leading companies from the industry returned to Hilton, Park Lane for the 37th Microscope Ball in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The pandemic has seen income for the charity halved and the return of its largest gross income event has been a huge boost.
The Superhero themed ball was inspired by the fundraising of Carmela Chillery-Watson, a 7 year old living with LMNA Congenital muscular dystrophy, who raised thousands doing a walking challenge as her favourite superhero Wonder Woman.
Despite having fewer people in the room than previous years, the fundraising on the night was a record £129,000 taking the total funds raised to £328,000.
The night was hosted by the famous Jonny Gould who raised £34,000 in the live auction along with championing various fundraising activity on the night.
The evening finished with the Ambassador Band playing out popular songs, with the dance floor full with guests enjoying being back at one of the highlight property fundraising events of the year.
Property Week are proud to support this event and look forward to continuing that support into 2022.
Tables are being selling fast for the Microscope Ball 2022 on Thursday 22 September.
