Miller Developments has added Bulgaria’s largest new shopping centre to its portfolio in a £102m deal.

The commercial property arm of the Miller Group bought the mall from Interservice Uzunovi in its biggest property transaction on the continent as it looks to expand its presence in eastern Europe.

Miller’s involvement in the scheme dates from June 2007, when it signed a conditional contract to acquire the development on its completion.

Mall Varna, which opened for trading in June, has 150 shops, along with extensive leisure facilities including a multiscreen cinema, a food court and a bowling alley.
