One of the biggest oil companies in Russia has signed up to take almost 400,000 sq ft of office space at Moscow’s Western Gate business park.

TNK-BP has signed a pre-let on two buildings to be developed by Western Gate owner, Centurion Group.

It now has the option to consolidate all of its Moscow staff into the new offices and to accommodate any further expansion at the Western Gate.

Developer Centurion has already completed schemes such as the Europark shopping mall and Ekaterinovka cottage complex in Russia.

Jones Lang LaSalle is the marketing agent on Western Gate and national director and head of office agency Charles Boudet said: ‘At the moment this is the largest office premises deal. This transaction is clear evidence of an already-established trend in the market, namely migration of offices beyond the city centre boundaries.’
