Mipim 2019: Leeds City Council announces sale of 2.8 acre site

Leeds City Council has announced it is selling the former International Pool site and is set to invite formal bids for the 2.8 acre space in the city’s business district.

Speaking at Mipim 2019, Martin Farrington, director of city development at Leeds City Council, announced the planned sale to developers and investors, noting that the site, located on Lisbon street, has the potential for around 500,000 sq ft of mixed-use commercial and retail space.
