Mission Capital’s Emma Sinclair, one of the rising stars of the UK property market, has been ousted from the company she and her father founded in a bitter boardroom dispute involving some of the biggest names in the industry. Financial Times

The 31-year-old former investment banker was the youngest woman to run a company listed on the London Stock Exchange when Mission Capital joined Aim in 2005.

She and her father Neil, Mission Capital’s former chairman, claim they were forced out this month after a disagreement about the group’s stake in a £36m joint venture with Chelsfield Partners.

Details of the dispute emerged for the first time yesterday in legal proceedings brought against the father and daughter duo at the High Court.
