Morley Fund Management has today unveiled a series of promotions and appointments across its UK and European property teams

It has promoted Ben Stirling, head of European property, to Morley’s property executive, the senior management team responsible for managing the company’s €44bn (£29.9bn) of funds.

Robert Wood joins the team as fund manager in an internal move from the Norwich Property Trust. Wood will be responsible for the Aviva Central European Property Fund and the German Retail Investment Property Fund.

Morley has also recruited three staff for its European Property Fund. Andreas Von Gossler joins the team as acquisitions manager. He was formerly a senior investment manager at Union Investment Real Estate. Lorenzo Segre joins the team as asset manager from Pirelli Real Estate and Matthew Hills has been recruited as acquisitions analyst from HDG Mansur Investment Services, where he was European investment analyst.

All four recruits will report to Julian Taylor, lead manager for the European Property Fund.
