The Shoe Studio Group, the footwear group previously owned by Mosaic Fashions, has been bought out of administration by rival footwear chain Dune.

But the deal with Dune is only the purchase of Shoe Studio’s concessions and not its stand alone stores. The 11 stand alone stores will stay in administration and are likely to be closed.

Deloitte was appointed as administrator to Mosaic Fashions on Monday as part of a pre-pack administration deal.

As revealed by Property Week on Saturday, the pre-pack deal allowed Mosaic’s former management, in a joint venture with Kaupthing bank, to buy out some of its brands.

It formed Aurora Fashions which bought Oasis, Warehouse, Coast, Anoushka G and Karen Millen chains.

Clothes shop Principles is the remaining Mosaic brand in administration. It is thought Deloitte is close to selling the 90 store chain.

Shoe Studio owns brands including Nine West, Bertie and Pied a Terre.
