Colliers International has recruited Olivier Gérard from CBRE to become its new chief executive for France.
He will take over from Gilles Betthaeuser, who has moved to the role of chairman and return to a more client-facing role.
Gérard brings more than 30 years’ of leadership experience in French and international real estate including the past eight years as managing director of transaction services at CBRE in France. Prior to that he was with Cushman & Wakefield where he held the position of CEO for eight years and before that he spent six years at JLL leading capital markets in France.
