Turner & Townsend has appointed Peter McGettrick as a new managing director to lead its advisory arm.
His new role will see him lead the UK advisory services team, which has over 300 specialists and has grown by over 80% in the last three years. He also joins the UK management board at Turner & Townsend.
McGettrick joined Turner & Townsend in 2016 as head of health and safety. Before that, he was divisional managing director for Capita Property and Infrastructure.
Patricia Moore, Turner & Townsend UK managing director and executive board member, said: “I am delighted to welcome Peter to the UK board to lead our advisory services. Our health and safety business has grown significantly under Peter’s direction in the last two years. I look forward to working with him to continue to drive our ambitious growth plans.”
Earlier this year, Turner & Townsend appointed David Whysall as the new managing director of its UK infrastructure business.
