Land Securities and Hammerson has signed 13 food and beverage operators to Bristol’s biggest shopping centre development

The Bristol Alliance joint venture announced today the new names for its £500m, 1m sq ft (92,900 sq m) Broadmead scheme.

The signings include debuts in Bristol for Yo Sushi!, Amano, Leon and Blanc Brasserie. These will be joined by Carluccio, Giraffe, Zizzi and Café Rouge bringing the scheme up to 60% committed.

According to the Bristol Alliance the operators have been signed to enable the shopping centre to offer an evening appeal.

The shopping centre, which is still to be named, will open in 2008. It will be anchored by House of Fraser, which has committed to a 170,000 sq ft (15,800 sq m) department store.
