Fourteen new retailers have signed up for shops at St David’s 2 in Cardiff, which opens on 22 October.

The St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Capital Shopping Centres and Land Securities, has signed up fashion store Lambretta; audio store Digital Connections trading as Bose; Formula One store Wheels of Sport; stationer Paperchase; jeweller Thomas Sabo; gadget store Menind and Prêt a Manger. All of these stores are making their Welsh debuts.

It has also signed up Jane Norman, Game, Shoe Zone, Lakeland, Faith and local restaurant Bellini’s.

The new phase of St David's will increase the existing shopping centre to 1.4m sq ft.

Joanne Skilton, of Capital Shopping Centres (CSC), on behalf of St David’s Partnership said: “We will be opening more shops in the run up to Christmas and the quality of the retail offer will reinforce Cardiff as a key location within the UK retail hierarchy.”
