Developer Build Force has got the go ahead for its £10m regeneration scheme in Newmarket, East Anglia which will see the conversion of 19th century malting kiln buildings into a residential scheme.

Forest Heath District Council gave the go ahead this week for the Atkins-designed scheme.

The 59 homes will be a mixture of town houses and apartments developed in the former kiln buildings and will include a four-storey atrium space courtyards and streets.

The construction phase is due to start in July 2008, with an estimated completion date of summer 2010.
