NewRiver sells off pubs and fills out Whitefriars Shopping Centre

NewRiver Whitefriars Shopping Centre in Canterbury

NewRiver REIT has sold off 22 of the pubs it acquired as part of Marston’s £90m Trent portfolio.

The 22 pubs were bought for a total consideration of £10.7m as part of the 202-pub portfolio it acquired in 2013 and have now been sold for £14.8m to a private equity investor, representing a net initial yield of 5.6%.
