Troubled publisher Newsweek Media Group has appointed McCalmont-Woods to market its 25 Canada Square office space in Canary Wharf.
The publisher of Newsweek magazine and International Business Times (IBT), among other titles, occupies 13,000 sq ft on the 24th floor of the Citigroup tower on a lease running until 2021.
It signed the six-year sublease with Citi for £39.50/sq ft in 2015, after doubling its staff to 160 employees. Property Week understands that the publisher could retain 5,000 sq ft at 25 Canada Square or search for new smaller offices elsewhere in London.
