Northern Ireland’s Ards Business Centre is to open a £3m serviced development in Newtownards, County Down.
Sketrick House, a two storey building which will provide 20,000 sq ft of office space, has secured five tenants already.
It will be serviced, offer conference and seminar facilities, and up to 90 free car parking spaces.
The offices were developed by developed by Ards Business Centre as part of the area’s regeneration scheme.
Councillor Angus Carson, chair of the Council’s Development Committee said: ‘Until now the absence of high quality, contemporary office space was hindering the development of local businesses and, in some cases, meant we lost companies to the area.
‘For the Council, supporting and part-funding the construction of Sketrick House, has been an integral part of our plans to ensure this important commercial sector has the opportunity to develop and allow us to continue with the economic regeneration of Ards.’
