Nuns move from Golders Green

Metro Construction has bought the 2.9 acre Carmelite Monastery in Golders Green, north London, for £13m to convert into luxury flats. The previous occupiers, the Carmelite Nuns, have moved to Preston. NB Real Estate acted with local residential agent Alan Goldin Estates on the acquisition; Gerald Eve represented the purchaser.
