The chair of the Office Agents Society, Philip Papenfus – who is office agency partner at King Sturge – has been made redundant as part of the firm’s wider redundancy programme.

Papenfus, who focuses on south east office agency, will leave the firm at the end of January. King Sturge is cutting up to 80 jobs overall to save costs.

Papenfus has been chairman of the Office Agents Society since January 2007 and his time as chairman officially ended in December 2008.

He is now looking for a successor for his role at the OAS.
