A powerful group of MPs will warn ministers and Olympics officials this week that they are not doing enough to ensure that the London Games will leave a lasting legacy for sport, business and tourism. Sunday Telegraph
A report by the all-party public accounts committee, due out on Tuesday, will also express concern that the cost of the 2012 Games will continue to rise above the revised £9billion budget.
The MPs are expected to criticise the 'overcomplicated' structure of the Olympics organisations which, they say, hinders decision-making and could push up costs.
