Orchard Asset Management has secured a £100m of financing for its UK Special Situations Fund.
Since its launch in March this year, the Special Situations Fund has already subscribed £100m of equity and is looking to invest in up to 15 assets over the next few years.
Chris Bartram, chairman at Orchard, said that it would be investing in the next few months: ‘In securing this hunting capacity, we believe that we can be very active in our pursuit of the exciting investment opportunities presented by the current market. We are looking at all sectors of the commercial property market and have an appetite to invest over the next few months in a market where we see real value.’
The fund Special Situations Fund is being headed up by Barney Rowe who joined Orchard from Goodman in August.
Orchard currently has a total of £1.7bn assets under management.
