Orion fund enters Paris market with first corporate acquisition

The fund, set up last May by three former directors of LaSalle Investment Management, has acquired a 98.3% stake in Locafinancière from Bred Banque Populaire, the largest of the group of French banks that make up Groupe Banques Populaires. It is in talks to buy out the minority shareholders.
