The head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s international capital group is to bring the curtain down on his 28-year career at the firm.

Robert Orr, who headed the group since 2005, is to leave at the end of March next year to pursue ‘his own business interests.’

Orr was charged with leading a team responsible for advising on cross-border investments of $100m (£59.2m) or more. Upon leaving, his responsibilities will fall to JLL head of capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Tony Horrell, who will continue his current role as well.

Orr will continue his association with JLL in a consultancy role, working with a small number of the firm’s German clients.

His previous roles at JLL include managing director of the firm’s German business and European chief executive.
