P&O Estates has submitted a planning application for the latest phase of its Opus Business Park on the Causeway in Staines.

Acting on behalf of affiliate company Vixen Jersey, P&O has submitted plans for a 51,662 sq ft, four storey development to be called Opus 3 at the park, on the Causeway in Staines. A decision on the application is expected in mid-2009.

Opus 3 is the next phase at the park, after the developer won consent for the 93,808 sq ft Opus 1 building.

Graham Corser, director of P&O Estates, said: ‘Opus 1 and Opus 3 mark the next phases in the regeneration of the Causeway Estate.

'The wider area is already home to businesses such as Fujitsu, Astellas, Gartner, Centrica and Future Electronics and these new developments will offer similar companies the opportunity to occupy Grade A buildings with the highest sustainability credentials and a minimum of 10% of the energy requirements being sourced from on site renewable sources.’

CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield are letting agents for Opus 1.
