Patron-backed Vine buys Laine pub chain

Vine Acquisitions, backed by Patron Capital and May Capital, has acquired The Laine Pub Company in partnership with the Laine management team.

Laine is a chain focused on the South East that operates 54 pubs including 33 in Brighton where it started in 1996 with the opening of the Mash Tun. The company also makes its own beers through Laine Brew Co, whose brands include Source, Ripper, and Word.
