Patron Capital-owned five-a-side football pitch operator Powerleague Fives has confirmed plans to close up to 13 sites across the UK as part of a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA).

The company has more than 440 pitches across 50 sites in the UK and Ireland, but said it was looking to restructure the business through the proposed CVA after three years of declining like-for-like revenues. Deloitte has been nominated to act as supervisor to the CVA.
