Cadenza, a property company run by Tony Pidgley Jr, the son of Berkeley Group founder Tony Pidgley, has gone into liquidation.

Valentine & Co has been appointed liquidator. The company was placed into voluntary liquidation.

The residential developer has been involved with a number of schemes including the Bristol Brewery as well as developments across London.

Cadenza is also the vehicle Pidgley Jr tried to use to mount a £1bn takeover of his father’s business, Berkeley Homes, in 2003.
