Placefirst plans £16.5m BTR development for Sheffield

Placefirst Sky Edge BTR

Build-to-rent developer Placefirst has unveiled plans to convert a long vacant site in Sheffield into a new development of 113 family homes.

Under proposals submitted to Sheffield City Council, Placefirst will develop mix of three and four-bedroom family homes off Skye Edge Avenue in the Park Hill area of the city that was recently featured on Doctor Who.

The site, which sits high in the hills behind Midland station and Norfolk Park, has been vacant since 2009 when 1970s maisonettes in the street were demolished.
