Administrators to Poundworld have announced the closure of 40 further stores, adding to the 105 stores the discount retailer had said it would close in June, after failing to find a buyer.
The discount goods retailer, which first fell into administration in June, said the additional stores would close by 24 July. The new closures increase the number of Poundworld stores set to shut to 145 out of its 335 store portfolio, including those under the Bargain Buys brand.
