Prescott calls a halt to Hornby’s Margate B&Q tie-up

The decision follows an inquiry in January last year and is one of the first big decisions on out-of-town development since the government published its planning policy statement 6 (PPS6) on 12 December. The statement outlined for consultation a more flexible regime for out-of-town development.
