A letter signed by some of the property industry’s biggest figures has called on the government to put in legislation supporting the Committee on Climate Change (CCC)’s recommendation for a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2050.
Chris Grigg, chief executive of British Land; Alison Nimmo, chief executive of the Crown Estate; Melanie Leech, chief executive of the British Property Federation; Ben Derbyshire, president of RIBA; and Steven Boyes, chief executive of Barratt Developments are among those who have signed the letter addressed to the prime minister.
