Under Hamson’s leadership, Property Week has become the leading weekly UK real estate industry title, with an audience of more than 400,000 people.

Hamson said: “It has been an amazing journey and I’m proud of the part I have played in driving the brand forward, but all good things come to an end.”

Richard Watts, managing director of Property Week, added: “Liz has done a fantastic job for both the magazine and the real estate sector.

“The news and insight her team has given the industry has helped Property Week to achieve record subscription revenues, and in 2020 Liz was instrumental in Property Week being named ‘Business magazine brand’ of the year at the media industry’s PPA awards.”

Hamson will depart at the end of April, when a new editor will join to build on her work.
