Quinlan Private Golub and the Borgestad Group have sold their 462,000 sq ft newly-opened shopping centre in Poland to German investment company Deka Immobilien for €128m (£86m).

The Forum Shopping Centre in Gliwice, Poland, opened last month following development by Quinlan Private Golub and Braaten & Pedersen on behalf of Quinlan Private and the Borgestad Group. The centre is 90% let with the remaining space in negotiation.

Deka Immobilien will retain the services of Quinlan Private Golub to manage the shopping centre, which includes 1,000 car parking spaces, a 70,000 sq ft Carrefour supermarket and a cinema. The supermarket has a number of international retail tenants such as H&M and Benetton.

Peter Donnelly, Quinlan private partner Central and Eastern Europe, said the disposal of the shopping centre represented a very attractive, and speedy, return for Quinlan’s investor group.
