Rare London relocation for ‘world’s largest map store’

Maps and travel specialist Stanfords has signed for its first new London store since 1901 with a new flagship location at 7 Mercer Walk.

Established in 1853 by Edward Stanford, the store which claims to be home to the world’s largest collection of maps, travel books and globes, has signed for a new 4,165 sq ft store with The Mercers’ Company that is due to open in November.
