Recycling company MBA Polymers UK has bought a 19-acre site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

The company, a joint venture between MBA Polymers Inc. and EMR, one of the world’s largest metal recyclers, has bought the site from glass company Ardagh Glass.

MBA Polymers UK has agreed to buy the site before the final closure of Ardagh Glass’s facility.

It will set up a UK automotive plastic recycling plant similar to plants operating in China, Austria and the United States on the site.
