Renewal works up new game plan to kick off Millwall project

Millwall timeline

Developer and south London football club to submit new masterplan for stalled £1bn regeneration scheme.

Property Week understands that plans for the 30-acre New Bermondsey scheme, which would feature 2,400 flats, new sports facilities and a new Overground station, will be submitted in spring.

The move is a bid to end a long-running dispute between the developer and the football club that dates back to 2003 when Renewal started acquiring parcels of land around the stadium.
