Almost 800 people took part in the 16th LionHeart London Property Quiz.

The event raised more than £40,000 for LionHeart, the charity for RICS members and their families. The London Property Quiz started in 1993, since when it has raised a total of over £917,000 for LionHeart so far.

Duncan Moir (Allsop) oversaw the proceedings again this year, with Morgan Williams (pictured above) scooping the winners’ prize with 91 points out of a possible 110 points. In second place were Maples Teesdale with 89 points and Aviva Investors, Macfarlanes and RLF were joint third with 88 points.

£12,846 was raised in the raffle - prizes included £5,000 cash, a demon drivers’ experience, a bi-plane sight-seeing tour of London, a pair of Club Wembley tickets to an international friendly England v Slovakia in March 2009 and £200 Selfridges vouchers. The winner of the first prize was Brian Allen (CWHB).

The Air Guitar competition round was a resounding success –a great opportunity for everyone to relax and let their hair down. Each team allocated a guitarist and many stormed the stage to perform in true rock’n’roll style!
