Peel Land and Property has been given the go ahead to build the first residential development in the Wirral Waters project.
The Cabinet of Wirral Council has green lit the £90m development of 500 new homes on the formerly derelict docklands, including 100 affordable homes.
Wirral Waters One forms part of the wider £4.5bn, 15m sq ft Wirral Waters development, which work began on in 2013. The Wirral Waters One project includes 100 affordable homes, developed by Legacy, the company set up by former England international footballers Rio Ferdinand and Mark Noble with local authorities with a focus on affordable housing.
