Gazeley and Land Securities have got the Green light to build a sq ft office and distribution centre for River Island at Magna Park Milton Keynes.
The Milton Keynes Partnership Committee approved the 480,000 sq ft building last night.
Don Morgan, planning and development director for Gazeley said: ‘Despite generally harsh trading conditions on the High Street, River Island continues to achieve favourable trading results and wishes to invest in its continuing long term growth in Milton Keynes.’
River Island has an operational base at Tongwell and the new site at Magna Park will allow for growth.
