RO Developments has bought the former 3 Com HQ in Hemel Hempstead for £2m and submitted a planning application to re-develop the site with 153,000 sq ft of offices.
The building is next to RO Developments’ Hemel One building, which has tenants including Kodak and SAIC. The existing building will be demolished and the site combined with RO Developments’ existing ownership to create a 275,000 sq ft business park situated around Hemel One.
Richard Bourne RO developments associate development director said the deal presented an opportunity to create a 9 acre business park within 30 minutes of London.
