The postal service has appointed Atisreal to carry out the sale, which will contain a significant number of retail post offices, as well as industrial and office buildings.

The sale in March of 300 properties was of a mixture of freeholds and leaseholds, some occupied and some vacant. Land Securities Trillium was the buyer. Royal Mail’s property portfolio is estimated to be worth more than £2bn.
