Lincoln Council has acquired a new Travelodge hotel in the city centre from developer S Harrison for £13m.

The Lincoln Travelodge is due to open later this year, on a 25-year lease to the hotel chain, and is located on Tentercroft Street in the heart of the city. The hotel comprises 127 bedrooms and ‘super rooms’, 60 of which are doubles and 61 of which are family rooms alongside six accessible rooms and 22 car parking spaces. After 25 years, Travelodge will also have the option to extend the lease for a further 25 years.
