Saracens Rugby Club and Barnet Council have been granted planning permission and secured funding for a £23m redevelopment of the Premiership Rugby champions’ Allianz Park stadium.
As part of a joint venture development alongside the council, Saracens will redevelop the West Stand at Allianz Park in Hendon into multi-use event facility and community hub for education, sporting and outreach activities. The £23m project will include a new 3,000 spectator covered stand, a centre of excellence for Middlesex University’s London Sport Institute and Health Faculty, an education centre operated by the Saracens Sport Foundation and a new media facility.
