Schroders has appointed James Buckley as head of Asia property multi-manager.

He will report to Jenny Buck, Schroders’ head of property multi-manager.

The post is a newly created post and will be based in Hong Kong.

Buckley will be responsible for research and investment in indirect unlisted real estate funds throughout Asia.

Buckley was previously the director of investment and acquisition at Harvest Capital Partners. He has also worked at Grosvenor.

Schroders has managed property multi-manager mandates since 1997.

Its team manages £1.5bn of assets on a segregated or pooled fund basis.
