Section 21 evictions rise more than 20%

The number of Section 21 ’no-fault’ evictions carried out in England rose by more than 20% to 24,000 in 2022-23, compared with 19,900 in 2021-22, according to government figures published today (13 October), raising concerns about the effects of delaying legislation to protect renters.
